Andie DeVoe, LMT, MLD/C, NCTMB
After spending a number of years as a pastry chef, Andie found the food service industry to be too political and stressful to be part of a healthy lifestyle. As a nurturing spirit, Andie has always found herself drawn to the healing power of touch. As part of her commitment to a more healthy and holistic lifestyle, Andie decided to embrace the nurturer within and pursue a career in massage therapy.
In 2005, upon completing 624 hours of massage therapy training at the Florida College of Natural Health, Andie became a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist. Since then, Andie has explored different massage modalities and has accumulated over 1200 additional hours of training and certification.
Andie specializes in both Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage and CranioSacral Massage. She has received extensive Lymphatic Drainage training in both Vodder and Chickly techniques and has achieved both state and national certification to perform Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD/C). As a result of additional training received from the Upledger Institute, Andie also specializes in CranioSacral therapy and often uses a mix of both modalities during her therapy sessions.
She is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), and The American Massage Therapy Association. By maintaining rigorous standards of professionalism and ethics she maintains board certification (NCTMB) from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Andie firmly believes in, and has witnessed first-hand, the power of touch and the necessity of incorporating regular relaxation and therapeutic massage into a busy and stressful life. As a result, she continues to find herself drawn to all aspects of healthy and happy living and hopes to both learn from and inspire others to do the same.
