Andie DeVoe, LMT, MLD/C, NCTMB
After spending a number of years as a pastry chef, Andie found the food service industry to be too political and stressful to be part of a healthy lifestyle. As a nurturing spirit, Andie has always found herself drawn to the healing power of touch. As part of her commitment to a more healthy and holistic lifestyle, Andie decided to embrace the nurturer within and pursue a career in massage therapy.
In 2005, upon completing 624 hours of massage therapy training at the Florida College of Natural Health, Andie became a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist and opened a private practice in Delray Beach, FL. Since then, Andie has explored different massage modalities and has accumulated over 3,400 additional hours of training and certification.
Specializing in both Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy and CranioSacral Therapy, Andie has received extensive Lymphatic Drainage training in both Vodder and Chickly techniques and has achieved both state and national certification to perform Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD/C). As a result of additional training received from the Upledger Institute, in CranioSacral therapy, Andie often uses a mix of both modalities during her therapy sessions. Andie is passionate about multi-hand work and regularly volunteers her time to work at the intensive therapy programs at Upledger Institute, working with veterans with PTSD.
She is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), and the American Massage Therapy Association.
Andie firmly believes in and has witnessed firsthand the power of touch and the necessity of incorporating regular relaxation, healing modalities, and therapeutic massage into a busy and stressful life. As a result, she continues to find herself drawn to all aspects of healthy and happy living and hopes to both learn from and inspire others to do the same.
